Simple Firepits
$2500 - $3500
This would be for a smaller firepit in your backyard along with a surrounding gravel base for a seating area.
Mid-Range Firepits
$3500 - $6000
This would be for a medium sized firepit with more elaborate landscaping surrounding it. This could include a small paver patio and a pathway.
Luxury Firepits
$6,000 - $10,000+
This would be for much more than a simple firepit. This price range could include a patio surrounding the firepit, landscape beds around the area, lighting, and more.

The most common and popular design options include in-ground firepits, above-ground firepits, fire tables, and fire rocks. We can help you choose a firepit design that best suits your backyard space, aesthetic preferences, and your budget.
Yes, we can certainly design and install gas or propane firepits in addition to traditional wood-burning firepits. Typically we'll subcontract with a qualified plumber to install any required gas lines or connections. Gas and propane firepits offer benefits such as ease of use, cleaner burning, and fewer restrictions in some areas. If you would like to discuss gas or propane options for your firepit we'd be happy to provide you with those options.
The construction time for a backyard firepit depends on factors like the size, design complexity, and the materials used. On average, we can complete a firepit project within a few days to a week. We do however book up quickly for these types of projects so it's a good idea to contact us several weeks if not months ahead of time if this is a project you plan on doing. We generally cannot accommodate requests to build a firepit on short notice.
Permit requirements for firepit construction vary depending on your local municipal regulations. Some areas may require a permit, while others do not. Generally a permit is not required for a wood burning fire-pit but for gas or propane firepits a permit is often required and can be handled by the plumber who is hired to install the gas piping.
Common materials used for firepit construction include natural stone, landscape blocks, bricks, and metal inserts. Each material offers different aesthetics, durability, and cost. We can help you choose the most suitable material for your specific needs and design preferences.

You'll want enough seating for your family and possibly some overflow if you have guests or host an outdoor gathering. Keystone Pavers did a phenomenal job on our large paver patio installation! Our previous patio (installed from another contractor 15 years ago) was constructed incorrectly and was horribly rippled and the pavers were separating. Other contractors either walked away from the project or told us they would use the already existing foundation and put new pavers on top (which would not have solved the problem). Eric immediately and accurately diagnosed the problem and proposed an appropriate plan to reconstruct the patio from the foundation. He listened intently and addressed all my concerns. I'm a returning customer; I had a patio and walkway installed by Keystone Paves a few years ago. When planning a front entrance and walkway I didn't consider anyone but Keystone Pavers and they didn't disappoint. In spite of a minor supply-chain issue that caused a slight delay in starting the project, Eric and his crew pressed on, adjusted their schedule, and managed to complete the work within the requested timeframe.
