Project Overview
Nancy and Lance wanted to create a functional and stylish outdoor living space where they could cook, entertain, and relax. Working closely with them, the Keystone Pavers team designed and built a modern paver patio with custom wall features, lighting, and a clean layout that balances aesthetics with everyday usability.
Hardscape Features & Materials We Used
The patio features Unilock Beacon Hill Smooth pavers in Steel Mountain, offering a contemporary look with smooth texture and rich color. The space is bordered with Unilock Town Hall pavers in Basalt, giving crisp definition and visual contrast.
To add structure and seating, we built a Unilock Lineo Dimensional wall in Limestone with a bold black accent band. The wall and pillar caps were finished with Unilock Natural Caps in Grey for a refined, cohesive look.
Functional Additions

- Grill Surround: We built a custom grilling station into the design for seamless outdoor cooking.
- Landscape Beds: Mulched planting beds soften the edges of the patio and enhance the space with greenery.
- Hideaway Screens: A clever design touch in the landscape bed near the home, providing visual interest and added privacy.
Outdoor Lighting Package
We incorporated a layered lighting design to extend usability and elevate the ambiance at night:

- In-Lite Mini Scopes for uplighting plant material and vertical features
- In-Lite Ledge Lights built into wall structures for subtle glow and safety
- Solos Color Splash Lights to add vibrant, color-changing lighting for evening entertaining
Results
The result is a clean, modern outdoor space that checks all the boxes: grilling, gathering, and low-maintenance beauty. Nancy and Lance now have a backyard they can enjoy from sunny afternoons to colorful, well-lit evenings.
