This project focused on creating a fully integrated outdoor kitchen and patio space designed for entertaining and everyday use. The goal was to build a cooking area that feels permanent, well constructed, and naturally connected to the surrounding hardscape.

- Outdoor Kitchen Veneer: Split-face stone veneer with a warm, multi-tone blend of browns and tans, installed in a horizontal stacked pattern
- Countertop: Polished natural stone slab, likely granite or quartzite, featuring soft grey and white veining
- Outdoor Kitchen Structure: Masonry block construction with stone veneer facing
- Cabinetry & Appliances: Built-in stainless steel outdoor kitchen components, including a grill, side burner, sink, storage drawers, and double access doors
- Patio Surface: Large format concrete pavers in a neutral blended tone, installed in a running bond pattern
- Accent Wall: Low masonry seat wall with integrated lighting
Project Overview
This Centreville, Maryland project focused on creating a complete outdoor kitchen and patio space designed for entertaining, cooking, and everyday use. The goal was to build a setup that feels permanent and well integrated into the yard, not like an add-on placed on top of an existing patio.
The outdoor kitchen was constructed using a masonry block base and finished with a warm, stacked stone veneer that gives the structure a solid, built-in appearance. A polished natural stone countertop runs the full length of the kitchen, providing generous prep and serving space while tying the entire installation together visually. Stainless steel appliances, including a built-in grill, side burner, sink, and storage components, were carefully laid out to keep everything functional and easy to use.
The kitchen sits on a large paver patio that creates a comfortable gathering area and allows smooth movement between cooking, seating, and the surrounding yard. A matching low seat wall helps define the space and includes integrated lighting, making the area usable well into the evening while highlighting the stonework and overall layout.
The finished result is a cohesive outdoor living space that blends hardscaping, cooking, and entertaining into one seamless design that fits naturally with the Centreville setting.
