  • Border: Contrasting charcoal paver border used to define edges and transitions
  • Seat / Accent Wall: Low masonry wall with stone veneer and smooth capstone
  • Landscape Lighting: Recessed and low-voltage accent lighting integrated along patio edges and wall features
  • Lawn Installation: New sod installation surrounding the patio for a clean, finished lawn edge
  • Base Materials: Compacted stone base and fabric for stability and drainage

Project Overview

This project focused on creating a clean, modern patio space that blends seamlessly with the home while improving outdoor usability. The goal was to replace unfinished ground and dated surfaces with a structured, low-maintenance hardscape that could be enjoyed both day and night.

We installed a large-format paver patio in a cool grey color palette that complements the home’s exterior and window trim. The pavers were laid in a modular pattern to keep the surface visually interesting while maintaining a clean, understated look. A darker contrasting border was added around the patio edges and along transitions to clearly define the space and lock in the pavers.

Low-voltage lighting was integrated along the patio perimeter and accent wall to provide subtle illumination after sunset. This not only improves safety and visibility but also highlights the clean lines of the paver layout and architectural features of the home. To complete the space, new sod was installed around the patio, creating a crisp edge and a smooth transition from hardscape to lawn.

Proper base preparation and grading were completed throughout the project to ensure drainage away from the home and long-term performance. The finished result is a polished patio and lawn combination that enhances curb appeal, adds usable outdoor space, and feels like a natural extension of the home.
